In each of Québec’s 125 ridings, ADQ members organize what we call ADQ associations for their ridings. The Executive Committee posts which they establish comprise, amongst others, that of President and Vice-president. The association must also have an official representative. Indeed, each person is responsible for his or her organization, helping to inform people about the ADQ’s activities within their riding. The ADQ’s National Office, through those responsible for the designated regions, offers valuable assistance to the various ADQ associations across the province, notably with regard to matters of financing, events management and media relations. In the months preceding an election, the ADQ associations are particularly active all across Québec. They warmly welcome all persons wishing to make a financial contribution or to volunteer their time toward their success. Individual donations and volunteerism are fundamental to political action. This is true for all political parties. And remember: the first 400 dollars contributed to a political party, each year, is eligible for a Québec provincial tax credit of 75%.
